Seven-wave "Sat Naam" Meditation Kriya

Discover the transformative power of the Seven-Wave "Sat Naam" Meditation Kriya. This practice is specifically designed to help you gently re-pattern habits and cultivate inner peace, guiding you towards a calmer and more relaxed state of being.

This particular kriya is a seed mantra meditation. Seed (bij) mantras are powerful sounds capable of completely rearranging deeply ingrained habit patterns. As you evolve, you might find that some old patterns no longer serve you. The vibrant sound current of "Sat Naam" actively engages the mind's energy, helping to erase unwanted habits and establish new, positive ones. This practice is a profound tool for personal transformation.

Engaging in this meditation kriya will open your mind to a new and enriching experience. After chanting this mantra, you will often feel a profound sense of calm, deep relaxation, and a gentle mellowness. It's an opportunity to connect with your inner self and release the tensions of the day, allowing a wave of tranquility to wash over you.

For those trying the Seven-Wave "Sat Naam" Meditation Kriya for the first time, we recommend starting with an 11-minute session. As you become more comfortable and accustomed to the practice, you can gradually increase the duration, working your way up to 31 minutes. Listen to your body and mind, and allow yourself to ease into this beautiful meditation at your own pace.

  1. Sit in Easy Pose, with a light neck lock
  2. Place the palms flat together at the center of the chest in Prayer Pose, with thumbs touching the center of the sternum.
  3. Inhale deeply, concentrating on the breath.
  4. With the exhale, chant the mantra in the law of seven (the law of the tides).
  5. Vibrate "Sat" in six waves, and let "Naam" be the seventh.
  6. On each wave, thread the sound through the chakras beginning at the base of the spine at the First Chakra.
  7. On "Naam", let the energy and sound radiate from the Seventh Chakra at the top of the head through the aura, unto Infinity.
  8. As the sound penetrates each chakra, gently pull the physical area it corresponds to: The first center is the rectum; the second is the sex organs; the third is the Navel Point; the fourth is the heart; the fifth is the throat; the sixth is the Brow Point; and the seventh is the top of the head.
